Highlights: Class 2+ fixed-premium (Single Rate) insurance with the discounts already deducted, so you see the real price as soon as you open the table
You ask several providers for a Class 2+ quote and each gives a different starting premium, then deducts a good-record discount here and a camera discount there. In the end you can't tell which one is really cheaper.
Viriyah's Class 2+ Single Rate sets a fixed premium with the discounts already deducted. The questions are: what is the premium at each sum insured, how much does each vehicle code pay, and what conditions should you know about?
Viriyah Class 2+ Single Rate insurance: who is it for, and how much is the premium?
In short: Viriyah's Class 2+ Single Rate insurance suits owners of privately used saloons (code 110), privately used pickups (code 210) and commercially used pickups (code 320). It covers the car in a collision with a land vehicle where the other party is identified, and theft and fire, up to a sum insured of THB 100,000–500,000, with third-party property cover of THB 1,000,000. Premiums start from THB 7,500 per year at a sum insured of THB 100,000, for every code (as of 15 October 2026). The actual premium depends on the sum insured, the vehicle code and the insurer's assessment.

How much is the premium for Viriyah Class 2+ Single Rate insurance?
Annual premiums, including tax and duty, as of 15 October 2026
| Sum insured (THB) | Code 110 / 210 | Code 320 |
|---|---|---|
| 100,000 | 7,500 | 7,500 |
| 150,000 | 8,200 | 8,700 |
| 200,000 | 8,800 | 9,900 |
| 250,000 | 9,400 | 10,400 |
| 300,000 | 9,900 | 10,900 |
| 350,000 | 10,500 | 11,500 |
| 400,000 | 11,000 | 12,000 |
| 450,000 | 11,600 | 12,600 |
| 500,000 | 12,100 | 13,100 |
Every figure is a starting premium. It already has the discounts deducted, including the CCTV camera discount and the accident-reporting app discount, so no other discounts are given on top. The actual premium depends on the sum insured, the vehicle code and the insurer's underwriting decision. The CMI amount follows the quote.
Worked example: choosing the sum insured and vehicle code
- A saloon, code 110, with a sum insured of THB 300,000: premium THB 9,900 per year, an average of 9,900 ÷ 12 = THB 825 per month
- A pickup, code 320, at the same sum insured pays THB 10,900, a difference from code 110 of 10,900 − 9,900 = THB 1,000 per year
- Raising the sum insured from THB 250,000 to THB 300,000 (code 110) costs 9,900 − 9,400 = THB 500 per year more and adds THB 50,000 to the theft and fire sum insured
- At a sum insured of THB 100,000, every code pays the same: THB 7,500
This example is for illustration only. The vehicle code can be read from the registration book, and our team will check it for you.
How is Single Rate different from an ordinary premium?
An ordinary premium usually starts from a base price and then deducts discounts for your record or equipment. With Single Rate the discounts are already deducted. The figures in the table are prices you can compare with other insurers' quotes straight away, but it also means no other discounts will be deducted on top.
When you compare, set the third-party limits, the other party's property, personal accident and medical expenses side by side. This plan gives THB 50,000 each for accident and medical expenses. If another plan has a similar premium but higher limits here, take that into account.
Who is Viriyah Class 2+ Single Rate insurance for?
- People who want to know the real premium straight away, without waiting to see which discounts they get
- Owners of privately used saloons or pickups for whom Class 1 is now too expensive for the car's age
- Owners of commercially used pickups, code 320, that do not carry fuel, acids or gas
- People whose car is worth no more than THB 500,000 and who want theft and fire cover
Who should not buy this plan yet?
- Cars used for hire or rental: codes 110 and 210 are not accepted
- Pickups carrying fuel, acids or gas are not accepted under code 320
- People who want cover when they crash on their own or the other party can't be found: see Class 1 insurance – full cover, great value
- Cars worth much more than THB 500,000: the plan's maximum sum insured is THB 500,000
- People who want high medical expenses cover for those in the car: this plan gives THB 50,000
Limits to check before you decide
- The car is covered only in a collision with a land vehicle where the other party is identified
- No further discounts on top of the table, because the discounts are already deducted
- Code 320 costs THB 500–1,100 more than codes 110 / 210 from a sum insured of THB 150,000 upwards
- Maximum sum insured THB 500,000
- Personal accident and medical expenses of THB 50,000 each

Frequently asked questions
I have a good record with no claims. Can I get an extra discount?
No. The conditions state that the premiums in the table already include the discount, and no further discount is given in any column.
I use my pickup to deliver goods from my shop. Which code should I use?
Code 210 is not used for carrying goods, while code 320 can be used commercially. The correct code depends on the registration book and how the vehicle is actually used, and our team will help you check.
If I reverse into a pillar, can I claim for the car?
Class 2+ cover for the car itself applies only to a collision with a land vehicle where the other party is identified. Hitting a pillar does not meet this condition.
At a sum insured of THB 100,000, every code pays the same, right?
Yes. At a sum insured of THB 100,000, codes 110, 210 and 320 all pay the same premium of THB 7,500.
Who approves claims: Prakanthai.com or Viriyah?
