Underwriting conditions
1. Accepts Thai nationals aged 16 to 60; the policy can be renewed continuously up to age 70. Age is calculated by rounding up any part of a day or month
2. The premium rises with each age band
3. The insurer will not pay benefits under this policy for any chronic disease, injury or illness (including complications) not yet cured before the date this policy first takes effect
4. The insurer covers treatment outside Thailand only for a sudden and unforeseeable injury or illness that occurs while abroad and requires treatment as an inpatient
5. Period of cover: 1 year
6. Acceptance or renewal of the policy is as determined by the insurer
Notes
1. Waiting period (not covered):
1.1 The insurer will not pay benefits under this policy for any illness that occurs within 30 days after the policy first takes effect, and
1.2 The insurer will not pay benefits under this policy for the following illnesses occurring within 120 days after the policy first takes effect
- Tumours, cysts or cancer of any kind
- Haemorrhoids
- Hernia of any kind
- Pterygium or cataract
- Removal of tonsils or adenoids - Stones of any kind
- Varicose veins of the legs - Endometriosis
